Located in a quiet area in Andermatt amidst the beautiful nature of the Swiss Alps, 850 metres from the Gemsstockbahn cable car station, The Chedi Andermatt combines Swiss hospitality tradition with Asian elegance. The Chedi Andermatt features a 2,400-square-metre wellness and spa area, comprising a fitness centre, hot tub, steam bath, and sauna. Massages are available on request. Designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy, known for his iconic and immersive luxury hospitality projects worldwide. The architecture and interior design blend Eastern clarity with Swiss Alpine tradition. Materials include a refined interplay of wood, stone, and ambient lighting, enhancing the sense of warmth and sophistication. Over 200 uniquely designed fireplaces further enhance the alpine retreat ambiance.

The hotel provides free ski storage. Guests can rent ski equipment directly on site. In addition, activities such as hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing can be enjoyed in the area.
